Product description
Controls the inlet of gas into the SICCO Glove Box to reduce gas consumption. The set consists of a gas dosing controller, a sensor cable, a tubing for connecting the flow meter with the measuring instrument and a power cable. Electrical power connection 230 V / 50 Hz as well as two free cable lead-ins, one for gas supply and one for the sensor, are required.

Applications
The control of gas supply is determined by the relative humidity inside the glove box, the relative humidity is monitored by a sensor which has to be led into the glove box by using a cable lead-in. When the required residual humidity is reached, the gas supply will be stopped. In case of a deviation larger than 1 % from the adjusted value, the pass opens and gas is led into the glove box again.

Thats how it works:
For a constant constant humidity in the work area of your glove box, the SICCO gas dispenser is recommended, which is interposed between the gas mask and the glove box. For operation, you need two free cable glands, via which the sensor and the gassing hose from the device are connected to the interior of the hand-box. At the gas dispenser, simply set the desired relative humidity, the gas supply is open. As soon as the set value has been reached, the supply line in the gas meter is closed. The indoor sensor continuously monitors the humidity. As soon as this differs by more than 1% of the set value, the gas supply is automatically opened again within 3 minutes, keeping the humidity at a constant level. The time delay prevents gas being introduced unnecessarily when the door is opened briefly. If the set value exceeds 5%, an alarm will sound. Such a deviation may, for example, Eg when the door is permanently open or an empty gas bottle. The automatic on / off function allows you to save up to 60% of gas.
