This peroxide test strip is ideal to test low levels of peroxide in solutions. The easy dip-and-read procedure provides reliable results within 15 seconds.

Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) is one of the most powerful oxidizers known. It?s disinfectant capabilities are higher than for Chlorine (Cl₂) or Chlorine dioxide (ClO₂).
It is used extensively in many industries as a disinfectant, for example in the food and dairy industry. Here the peroxide test strips are used to test for residual peroxide after production equipment has been disinfected with peroxide containing agents. Additionally, the final product is often tested for peroxide with test strips as well, because many packages are disinfected with peroxide prior to filling. Thus, an optimal product quality is guaranteed and the final product is free from peroxide.

QUANTOFIX Peroxide 25 test strips are the ideal tool to test for peroxide in solutions detecting peroxide in the range of 0.5 - 25 ppm H₂O₂.

Procedure:

1. Dip the test strip into the test solution for 1 second.
2. Shake off excess liquid.
3. Allow solvent to dry completely.
4. Once dry, moisten the test field with a drop of water.
5. Wait 15 seconds.
6. Compare with the colour scale. If hydrogen peroxide is present, the test field turns blue.
