Application profile
Non contact thermometers use infrared technology to measure the surface temperature of materials close up or from a distance. You simply aim, pull the trigger, and read the temperature (response time appr. 0.5 second). Due to the fact you are not touching the surface you are able to measure safely hot, hazardous, or hard-to-reach materials without contaminating or damaging the material's surface.
