A 10 basic
The newly designed batch mill grinds hard, brittle, but also soft and fibrous materials up to a volume of 50 ml.
Due to the brittleness of samples in the grinding chamber, even tough, greasy and water-containing samples can be processed.
Special attention was paid to safety during further development. For example, the mill only starts when the lid is closed and the lid can only be opened when the mill is at a standstill.
A quick stop further increases user safety.
The test results of the new A 10 basic are comparable to those of the predecessor model A 10, as the grinding chamber, beater geometries and speed are identical.

The new A 10 basic mill offers the following additional user-friendly features:

A 11 basic analytical mill
Batch mill for two grinding processes:
Impact grinding of hard, brittle or embrittled grinding materials using a stainless steel beater. This beater can be used up to Mohs hardness 6 (included in delivery).
Cutting grinding of soft, fibrous materials using a cutting blade (not included in the scope of delivery).

• Moist and sticky feed materials can be ground by adding water.
• Grinding bowl made of Tefcel (PTFE, glass fibre reinforced) with stainless steel inlet (1.4571), usable volume 80 ml (included in delivery). This enables grinding materials to be embrittled with liquid nitrogen directly in the grinding chamber.
• Grinding bowl 250 ml usable volume optionally available
