The IKA bath and circulation thermostat HBC 5 basic
has a maximum working temperature of 200 °C and its high-quality stainless steel bath has a filling volume of 5-7 litres. The large surface area of the heating element ensures optimum heat exchange and uniform heating of the medium. The high-quality insulation of the appliance enables particularly fast heat-up times. The bath is easy to clean and has a drain valve on the front. A hose is connected for draining so that the user does not come into direct contact with the temperature control medium. To further ensure customer safety, the HBC 5 basic is UL-certified and complies with the highest safety classification III (FL) for use with flammable liquids in accordance with DIN 12876.
