UVG air steriliser
The UVG air sterilisers are used for room air disinfection. The ambient air is drawn in by the built-in fan and directed past the built-in UV-C tubes. As the models are equipped with an all-round protection, people can safely stay in the room and are thus protected from radiation.
The units are made of white powder-coated aluminium. The UVG360 model is designed for ceiling mounting, the housing is made of polished stainless steel.
How the UVG luminaires work
Our Dinies UVG lamps use UV-C lamps with a wavelength of 254nm. This wavelength has the property of changing the DNA of micro-organisms in such a way that reproduction is no longer possible:
- The built-in fan directs the room air with the microorganisms in it past the UV lamps.
- There, the DNA of the microorganisms absorbs the UV-C radiation.
- This blocks cell division - the microorganisms die.
