The CastAway CTD is a small, rugged and compact meter. Easy to use and specially designed for fast and accurate acquisition of conductivity, temperature and depth profiles.
The palm-sized CastAway CTD with its unique 6-electrode construction in a flow cell combines Bluetooth and GPS technology into a precise and user-friendly instrument. Time and position are saved to each record using the built-in GPS. Depth curves of temperature, conductivity, salinity and speed of sound are immediately displayed on the color LCD.
The PC software required for this is supplied with the CastAway CTD and, in addition to the listed services, also serves for the configuration and measured value visualization. The data can be easily transferred via Bluetooth to a Windows PC for further analysis or export to databases.
