Dispersers & Homogenizers - possible uses
Dispersers / Homogenizers can be used in various ways in the laboratory and in production. They are predominantly employed in research, development and industrial laboratories as well as in mass production. Dispersers and homogenisers devices are laboratory instruments used for suspending, emulsifying, dispersing or homogenizing tissue samples in biotechnology and for sample preparation in medicine or in the food industry. They can also be found in the pharmaceutical industry, in the field of cosmetics and paint production and in the petrochemical industry.
Depending on the dispersion method, quantity, size or type of material, you can choose between dispersing units and dispersing systems from many different manufacturers. Our current range of lab homogenisers and laboratory dispersers by IKA, Heidolph, ART MICCRA or Ingenieurbüro CAT, M. Zipperer enables the most diverse applications in the laboratory, in product development and mass production - from the homogenisation of wastewater samples to diverse dispersing tasks in pressure, vacuum or PCR analysis. We are happy to advise you in the selection of the most suitable dispersers / homogenisers for your laboratory. For this, please use our contact form or simply call us on: +49(0)3338 - 7510456.
Dispersers & High-Speed Mixers - functional principle
High-Speed Dispersers Mixers are special laboratory devices for the production of dispersions and/or suspensions suitable for mixing, crushing, grinding, dissolving, emulsifying or homogenizing liquids with solids and other liquids. Dispersion is the mixing of at least two substances that cannot be dissolved or chemically combined with each other, or only to a small extent. Accordingly, dispersers & homogenisers are special laboratory mixers that are primarily used to produce liquid or paste-like substance in which all the components are thoroughly mixed through. In the dispersion process, one substance is therefore distributed within another, whereby the rotor-stator element is the active component of a dispersing device. During rotation, thrust and shear forces act on the medium, solids are broken down into fine particles and liquids into tiny droplets.
The number of revolutions and the circumferential speed of the rotor is decisive for the efficiency of a disperser equipped with an actuator. The available laboratory homogenisers / lab dispersers from IKA, such as the T 18 Digital ULTRA-TURRAX with a digital speed display (rpm) display or the handy T 10 Basic ULTRA-TURRAX that operate at the speeds of up to 25,000 - 30,000 revolutions per minute, with which substances are quickly and effectively broken down and homogenously distributed. Longer stability of the dispersions is usually achieved with auxiliary dispersion agents such as emulsifiers and stabilisers.
Lab Dispersers & Lab Homogenizers - models
Homogenizers / Dispersers come in different sizes and models, all dependent on the area of application, dispersion method and usage volume. We currently classify our disperser/homogenizers as disposable homogenizers systems, hand-held dispersers, high-speed dispersers and stand dispersing devices. Our product range currently includes selected dispersers from IKA and Heidolph Instruments, whose functionality, safety, and durability will surely appeal to you.
In terms of their design, Heidolph & IKA dispersers/homogenizers are reliable and cost-effective, are easy to maintain and have a long service life. Their powerful drive mechanisms guarantee maximum speed stability and product quality, whereby volumes of 40 mmol to 50 l can be processed and the dispersion tools can be changed quickly. IKA's T 18 digital, T 25 digital, T 50 digital dispersing devices or the Tube Drive Control universal disposable homogenising system as well as the Heidolph SilentCrusher M and SilentCrusher Plug & Play M disperser all have a digital display.
Laboratory Homogenizers & Lab High Speed Dispersers Mixers - accessories
Our high-quality laboratory Homogenizers / High-Speed Dispersers are characterised by their robust design and long service life as well as the possibility of replacing or adding individual parts. Depending on the design of the disperser, you can order different components and dispersing accessories such as various dispersing tools, stands, clamps, stirrers, covers, mixing vessels or stainless-steel balls. We also offer special laboratory software that allows up to 64 laboratory devices to be interlinked and simultaneously controlled from one PC. This simplifies the operation and automation of tests and processes in the laboratory - and ultimately increases your productivity.
