Dispersers & Homogenisers - possible uses
Dispersers / Homogenisers can be used in various ways in the laboratory and in production. They are predominantly employed in research, development and industrial laboratories as well as in mass production. Dispersers and homogenisers are laboratory devices used for the suspension, emulsification, dispersion or homogenisation of tissue samples in biotechnology and for the preparation of samples in medicine or in the food industry and are also to be found in the pharmaceutical industry, in the field of cosmetics and paint manufacturing as well as the petrochemical industry. Depending on the dispersion method, quantity, size or nature of the material, you can select from dispersing devices and dispersing systems by many different manufacturers. Our currently range of homogenisers and dispersers by IKA, Heidolph, ART MICCRA or Ingenieurbüro CAT, M. Zipperer allow for the most varied of applications in the laboratory, in product development and mass production - extending from the homogenisation of wastewater samples to multifarious dispersing tasks involving pressure, vacuum or PCR analysis. We are happy to advise you in the selection of the most suitable dispersers / homogenisers for your laboratory. For this, please use our contact form or simply call us on: +49(0)3338 - 7510456.
Dispersers & High Speed Mixers - functional principle
High Speed Dispersers Mixers are special laboratory devices for producing dispersions and/or suspensions, suitable for the mixing, comminution, grinding, dissolution, emulsification or homogenisation of liquids with solids and other fluids. Dispersion means the mixing of at least two substances which cannot, only or only to a small extent, be dissolved in each other or chemically combined. Accordingly, dispersers & homogenisers are special laboratory mixers which are primarily used to produce liquid or paste-like substance mixtures in which all the components are thoroughly mixed through. In the dispersion process one substance is therefore distributed within another, whereby the rotor-stator element is the active component of a dispersing device. During rotation thrust and shear forces act on the medium, solids are broken down into fine particles and liquids into tiny droplets. The number of revolutions and circumferential speed of the rotor is decisive for the efficiency of a disperser that has an actuator. The available homogenisers-dispersers by IKA, such as the T 18 Digital ULTRA-TURRAX with a digital rpm display or the handy T 10 Basic ULTRA-TURRAX operate at speeds of up to 25,000 - 30,000 revolutions per minute, through which substances are quickly and effectively broken down and homogenously distributed. Longer stability of the dispersions is usually achieved with auxiliary dispersion agents such as emulsifiers and stabilisers.
Dispersers & Homogenisers - models
Homogenisers / Dispersers come in different sizes and models, all dependent on the area of application, dispersion method and usage volume. At present we classify our dispersing/homogenising devices as disposable homogenising systems, hand-held dispersers, high-speed dispersers and stand dispersing devices. Our range currently includes selected dispersing devices by IKA and Heidolph Instruments, with a functionality, safety and long service life which will definitely appeal you. In terms of their design, Heidolph & IKA dispersers/homogenisers are reliable and cost-effective, are easy to maintain and have a long service life. Their powerful drive mechanisms guarantee maximum speed stability and product quality, whereby volumes of 40 mol to 50 l can be processed and the dispersing tools rapidly changed. The IKA T 18 digital, T 25 digital, T 50 digital dispersing devices or the Tube Drive Control universal disposable homogenising system as well as the Heidolph SilentCrusher M and SilentCrusher Plug & Play M disperser all have a digital display.
Homogenisers & Dispersers Mixers - accessories
Our high-quality Homogenisers / High Speed Dispersers are characterised by their robust design and long service life as well as the possibility of replacing or adding individual parts. Depending on the design of the dispersing device, you can order various components and disperser accessories such as different dispersing tools, stands, clamps, stirrers, covers, mixing vessels or stainless steel balls. We also offer special laboratory software that allows up to 64 laboratory devices to be interlinked and simultaneously controlled from one PC. This simplifies the operation and automation of tests and processes in the laboratory - and ultimately increases your productivity.
