Thermconcept Ashing Furnace KLS-ASH, 1200 °C
Specially adapted furnace series
Identical in design to the chamber furnaces of the KLS series, these models are, however, specially equipped for the ashing of organic components in samples and feature combustion air preheating, protected heating elements and a generous exhaust chimney in the furnace ceiling.
- Preheating of the combustion air via ceramic inlet ducts in the furnace floor
- Covering of the heating elements with quartz glass tubes
- Generously dimensioned exhaust in the kiln ceiling as well as stainless steel chimney with a height of 350 mm on top of the kiln
- Double-walled housing construction with rear ventilation, exceptionally low outer wall temperature
- Parallel upward opening door, hot door inside always facing away from the operator
- Furnace insulation made of high-quality fibre materials with low thermal mass
- Door surround made of robust lightweight refractory bricks
- Abrasion-resistant lightweight refractory brick in the kiln floor
- Delivery includes ceramic base plate
- Heating elements mounted on ceramic support tubes and installed in front of the kiln wall
- Powerful heating elements in both sides of the kiln, fast heating rates
- Switching via semi-conductor relay, particularly precise kiln control, wear-free, noiseless
