IKA Rotating Viscometer ROTAVISC SBS Package

The SBS (Steel Ball Bearing, Suspended) rotational viscometers extend a large part of the application spectrum of our IKA ROTAVISC instrument family.

Instead of a jewel bearing, these devices are equipped with a special ball bearing technology.
They are particularly characterised by their high robustness. Predestined for applications with very high sample throughput, frequent spindle changes, operation in harsh environments, or frequent changes of instrument location.

Whether simple or demanding viscosity measurement - with ROTAVISC you get fast and accurate results.

Viscosity measurement in motion
The motor-driven stand IKA HELISTAND moves the mounted viscometer and its rotating body slowly and smoothly up and down in the sample.

Easy to operate
Intuitive menu navigation awaits you via the generous 4.3'' TFT display. A digital spirit level also helps you to set the correct start condition. Repetitive tasks are made easier by the simple ramp function.

Highest measuring accuracy
The accuracy of the ROTAVISC rotational viscometers is +/- 1% of the measuring range for Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids. The reproducibility is +/- 0.2%.

Infinitely variable speed
With ROTAVISC you have a viscometer where you can set the speed steplessly, but you can also preset programmes or individual speed steps.
