FRITSCH PULVERISETTE 7 classic line Planetary Ball Mill
In Planetary Ball Mills, the comminution of the material to be ground takes place primarily through the high-energy impact of grinding balls in rotating grinding bowls.

PULVERISETTE 7 classic line: For the uniform, and extremely fine comminution of very small samples of hard to soft grinding material, dry or in suspension, down to colloidal fineness. For mixing and perfect homogenising of emulsions or pastes. Maximum sample quantity: 40 ml

Areas of application
Chemistry, biology, pharmacology and pharmaceutical research, medicine, nuclear research, spectroscopy, x-ray fluorescence.

Method of operation
The grinding sample is comminuted by high-energy impacts from grinding balls and friction between balls and the grinding bowl wall.

Features
  • Large rotational speed range
  • Grinding chamber completely encapsulated but easy to open
  • Cooling of the grinding chamber with a built-in fan for long grinding times

  • Ergonomic IP64 membrane keyboard
  • Maintenance-free drive with asynchronous motor and frequency converter
  • Mains voltage (100-120/200-240 V) configurable on the instrument
  • Recyclable plastic housing
  • Certified safety CE
  • 2-year guarantee

Equipment
The standard equipment delivered with the Planetary Micro Mill PULVERISETTE 7 classic line does not include grinding bowls or balls, which are available in 8 different materials and must be ordered as accessories. The voltage (100-120/200-240 V) specified in the order is preset.

Suitable for the following material samples
hard, medium-hard, brittle, moist

Please note: For this FRITSCH mill, you require at least two grinding bowls of your choice and the corresponding number of grinding balls. The grinding bowl material must also be harder than the material to be ground. In normal cases, grinding bowls and balls of the same material are used. To shorten the grinding time, larger or heavier grinding bowls and grinding balls with a higher density can be used. Please take note of the useful capacity, this is not identical with the bowl volume!
