FRITSCH PULVERISETTE 7 premium line Planetary Ball Mill

In Planetary Ball Mills, the comminution of the material to be ground takes place primarily through the high-energy impact of grinding balls in rotating grinding bowls.

PULVERISETTE 7 premium line: As an extension to the existing classic line of Planetary Mills, FRITSCH now offers for the first time a premium line generation. Previously unachieved rotation speeds are now possible, yielding ultra-fine grinding results down to the nano range.

Areas of application
Pharmaceuticals, mechanical alloying, metallurgy, ceramics, materials research, geology and mineralogy, chemistry, biology

Method of operation
Discover a whole new dimension of high-tech grinding with the new FRITSCH premium line. For the first time, we have sunk the grinding bowls. Brilliantly simple - brilliantly effective! For previously unheard of rotation speeds and ultra-fine grinding results down to the nano range.
Operators and the machine itself are kept safer than ever with the revolutionary SelfLOCK technology of the grinding bowls, automatic checking of the locks in the mill, blocking in event of impermissible operating states and the new automatic shut-off function in event of an imbalance.

Features

FASTER
The grinding bowls sunk into the disc make revolutionary rotation speeds of up to 1100 rpm possible for the first time in the FRITSCH premium line. This allows the PULVERISETTE 7 premium line to achieve sensational centrifugal accelerations up to 95 times Earth gravity. The resulting energy application is roughly 150% greater than classic planetary mills. The result: significantly shorter milling processes and fineness levels down to the nano range.
Your practical advantage: Work more efficiently by preparing more samples in the same amount of time.

SIMPLER
They are the centrepiece of the premium line: the sunken bowls with revolutionary SelfLOCK technology. For the first time, the bowl and lid form a solid unit - no additional tensioning, no incorrect operation! It is just as simple to place the bowls in the mill, where they position themselves and snap securely into place. The grinding chamber of the premium line opens and closes automatically and independently rotates the bowl mounts into a convenient position for handling. Removal and opening of the bowls are also performed with just two motions. This makes it the first Planetary Mill that is as easy to operate as a centrifuge. And the milling chamber cover can even be completely removed for easy cleaning.
Your practical advantage: A decisive simplification of your daily work.

SAFER
Grinding has never been as safe and reliable: Operators and the machine itself are kept safer than ever with the revolutionary SelfLOCK technology of the grinding bowls, automatic checking of the locks in the mill, blocking in event of impermissible operating states and the new automatic shut-off function in event of an imbalance.
Process reliability redefined: The mill automatically detects the inserted grinding bowls via a special RFID chip, allowing the mill to optimise the rotation speed and prevent impermissible grinding settings.
Especially practical: The automatic parameter check before every grinding guarantees exact reproducibility. Via USB all data can be exported and the mill can be controlled - easily and time saving.
A well-organised touch screen provides simple and precise navigation through the menu structure; it is easy to program in precise start times.
Your practical advantage: Guaranteed constant and optimal results - incorrect operation is impossible.

Equipment
The Planetary Micro Mill PULVERISETTE 7 premium line operates with two grinding bowls of sizes 20 ml, 45 ml or 80 ml, but no grinding bowl or balls are included with the standard delivery. To achieve the best grinding results, all premium line grinding bowls and balls are available in 7 different materials. This allows for direct prevention of contamination of the samples due to undesired abrasion. The grinding balls are offered in various sizes to ensure that the grinding can be optimally adapted to every single application.

Suitable for the following material samples
hard, medium-hard, brittle

Please note: For the PULVERISETTE 7 premium line, you require at least two grinding bowls of your choice and the corresponding number of grinding balls. The grinding bowl material must also be harder than the material to be ground. In normal cases, grinding bowls and balls of the same material are used. To shorten the grinding time, larger or heavier grinding bowls and grinding balls with a higher density can be used. Please take note of the useful capacity, this is not identical with the bowl volume!
