The jaw crusher BB 500 was specially developed to accept large feed sizes up to 110 mm. The gap width can be infinitely adjusted from 0-11 mm. Depending on the sample material, final finenesses of up to 0.5 mm can be achieved, which means a crushing ratio of 220.
A maximum throughput of 500 kg/h can be achieved with the BB 500.

RETSCH jaw crushers are available in 8 sizes. Throughput capacity and final fineness depend on the type of machine, the set gap width and the crushing properties of the feed material.

Robust design, easy operation and cleaning are features of RETSCH jaw crushers.
Small sample quantities can be processed in batches, for larger quantities the crushers can be used continuously.

The BB 500 is a robust and powerful jaw crusher with outstanding crushing efficiency. Due to the wedge-shaped design of the crushing chamber, the very effective crushing kinematics and the high frequency of the jaw movement, it is possible to process samples with a feed size of up to 110 mm to a final fineness of 90% below 0.5 mm in one operation.
The infinitely variable gap width adjustment with scale ensures optimum comminution according to the set gap width. The sample collection container holds up to 15 l of material per batch.
The feed hopper with splash-back protection can be removed quickly and easily.
The BB 500 has a connection for dust extraction and is protected against mechanical overload.
Cleaning the crushing chamber is quick and easy thanks to the removable hopper and replaceable crushing jaws and wear plates.
