BioSan pipette with volume stop
The pipettes in the Assist series with volume blocking are single-channel or 8/12-channel pipettes with variable volumes that are used to measure or transfer volumes from 0.1 μl to 10,000 μl (depending on the model).
Multi-channel pipettes are manufactured in four volume ranges: 0.5-10 μl, 5-50 μl, 20-200 μl, 50-300 μl.
The pipettes are equipped with an analogue counter that displays the pipetting volume.
The volume is set by turning the pipetting push button clockwise or the black setting knob.
The volume range is displayed on the pipetting push button.

Use of commercially available pipettes, depending on volume
- 2-10 μl: Measurement and transfer of very small volumes, DNA sequencing and enzyme assay applications.
- 10-1000 μl: Measurement and transfer of aqueous solutions, acids and bases.
- 5000-10,000 μl: Measurement and transfer of large quantities.
