BioSan device for imaging fluorescent microarrays ImagerBio F
The ImagerBio F is a compact and portable fluorescence imager designed for imaging fluorescent microarrays and works with 2 channels as standard: CY3 and CY5.
The device can work with 96-well plates, a 12x8-well strip as well as microscopic glasses (in a special adapter).
It takes images from below, so the plates must have a transparent bottom.
The device is equipped with a high-sensitivity CMOS camera that can take more sensitive images in shorter exposure times, which shortens the operating time. The image filtering is done by fluorescence filters.
The device has an automatic mechanism for ejecting the dish outside the housing.
The ImagerBio F can be powered by a portable 20 V lithium-ion battery, allowing it to be used for field studies or point-of-care.
The unit is available in 2, 3 or 4 channel configurations: DAPI, FITC, CY3, CY5 and Qdot options are also available.
The compact design of the 2/3-channel version allows the unit to be carried in hand luggage on aircraft.
Software features:
- Automatic array finder via machine learning and image recognition.
- Grid layout (manual and automatic)
- Analysis of images based on average/mean intensity of spots
- Qualitative/quantitative analysis of the arrays
- Generation of qualitative/quantitative analysis assays
- Quantitative assays with 4/5 parameter logistic functions, etc.
- Setting of multi-level interpretation thresholds for different sample types in the same well (e.g. tolerance to egg and lettuce)
- Report export to PDF, CSV, EXCEL
- Control of camera exposure, gain, XYZ kinematics
