Q115
The SteriWhite Air Q115 was developed for effective disinfection of room air. Due to the very quiet fan, the unit, which is operated by a pressure switch, can also be used in doctors' waiting areas, therapy and social rooms, in the hotel and catering industry and much more. The special design of the high-quality powder-coated housing ensures reliable shielding of the UV-C light for people.
Function: The very high-energy UV-C light triggers a photochemical reaction. The wavelength at 253.7 nm is absorbed by the cell nucleic acids and, depending on the irradiation dose, leads to the inactivation of viruses, bacteria and fungal spores. UV-C light is therefore used to specifically kill or damage micro-organisms (such as bacteria/viruses, yeasts and moulds) by up to 99.99%.
Equipment: The high-quality housing is equipped with high efficiency UV-C lamps, a powerful, very quiet fan and a filter. Furthermore, an LED service indicator is installed for an integrated display of the operating hours. Supplied ready to plug in with 3 m connection cable length.
Options: Available as standard variant, for wall or ceiling mounting (on request).
Q330
Equipped with highly effective UVC technology and with an unobtrusive, modern design: the SteriWhite Air Q330. The unit can be placed inconspicuously in rooms and can also be used in training rooms due to its quiet operation of ≤35 dB(A). In addition to the floor unit with castors, a variant for ceiling or wall mounting is also available.
Function: The SteriWhite Air Q330 is a highly efficient recirculating air disinfection system for the reliable inactivation of microorganisms. Powerful, very quiet fans (≤35 dB(A); a quiet flat corresponds to about 45 dB) inside the housing provide a steady flow of air through the disinfection system. In the process, the air is guided past UVC low-pressure lamps.
The active principle: The very high-energy, short-wave UVC rays penetrate the cell membrane or viral envelope and disrupt the base pairing of the RNA or DNA there by causing the formation of pyrimidine dimers and uridine hydrates. The genetic information is destroyed, the bacteria, viruses (e.g. COVID-19, influenza) and spores can no longer reproduce. The chain of infection is broken.
For SARS-CoV-2, an inactivation rate of up to 99.99% could be proven on surfaces in the laboratory.
Features: With the SteriWhite Air Q330, function meets design: The UVC steriliser looks very good in any room. Its powder-coated sheet steel housing and specially developed light traps prevent UV radiation from escaping. Moreover, no ozone is produced. This means that the SteriWhite Air 330 not only complies with the safety regulations for UV radiation, but can also be used without hesitation in rooms where people are present.
The SteriWhite Air Q330 is available as a plug & play disinfection device (connection cable: 3 m) on castors for standing or alternatively for wall and ceiling mounting. The air steriliser is simply switched on and off at the touch of a button.
Our UVC lamps have an extremely long service life of up to 16,000 operating hours. Lamp replacement is therefore only very rarely necessary and is indicated at an early stage by an LED on the housing.
