Q115
The SteriWhite Air Q115 was developed for effective disinfection of room air. Thanks to the very quiet fan, the device, which is operated with a pressure switch, can also be used in waiting areas at doctors' surgeries, therapy and social rooms, in the hotel and catering industry and much more. The special design of the high-quality powder-coated housing ensures reliable shielding of the UV-C light for people.
Function: The very high-energy UV-C light triggers a photochemical reaction. The wavelengths at 253.7 nm are absorbed by the cell nucleic acids and, depending on the irradiation dose, lead to the inactivation of viruses, bacteria and fungal spores. UV-C light is therefore used to specifically kill or damage microorganisms (such as bacteria/viruses, yeasts and moulds) by up to 99.99%
Equipment: The high-quality housing is equipped with high-efficiency UV-C lamps, a powerful, very quiet fan and a filter. There is also an LED service indicator for an integrated display of the operating hours. Supplied ready to plug in with 3 m connection cable length
Options: Available as a standard version for wall or ceiling mounting (on request).
Q330
Equipped with highly effective UVC technology and a discreet, modern design: the SteriWhite Air Q330. The device can be positioned inconspicuously in rooms and can also be used in training rooms thanks to its quiet operation of ≤35 dB(A). In addition to the free-standing unit with castors, a version for ceiling or wall mounting is also available.
Function: The SteriWhite Air Q330 is a highly efficient recirculating air sterilisation system for the reliable inactivation of microorganisms. Powerful, very quiet fans (≤35 dB(A); a quiet flat corresponds to around 45 dB) inside the housing ensure a constant flow of air through the sterilisation system. The air is channelled past UVC low-pressure lamps.
The principle of action: The very high-energy, short-wave UVC rays penetrate the cell membrane or viral envelope and disrupt the base pairing of the RNA or DNA by causing the formation of pyrimidine dimers and uridine hydrates. The genetic information is destroyed and the bacteria, viruses (e.g. COVID-19, influenza) and spores can no longer reproduce. The chain of infection is broken.
An inactivation rate of up to 99.99% has been demonstrated for SARS-CoV-2 on surfaces in the laboratory.
Features: With the SteriWhite Air Q330, function meets design: The UVC steriliser looks great in any room. Its powder-coated sheet steel housing and specially developed light traps prevent UV radiation from escaping. In addition, no ozone is produced. This means that the SteriWhite Air 330 not only complies with the safety regulations for UV radiation, but can also be used in rooms where people are present without any concerns.
The SteriWhite Air Q330 is available as a plug & play steriliser (connection cable: 3 m) on castors for installation or alternatively for wall and ceiling mounting. The air steriliser is simply switched on and off at the touch of a button.
Our UVC lamps have an extremely long service life of up to 16,000 operating hours. Lamp replacement is therefore only very rarely necessary and is indicated by an LED on the housing at an early stage.
