The UVC-impermeable polycarbonate disc in the lid of the UV-BOX-E2 guarantees a reliable shielding against the generated UVC radiation. A locking mechanism switches the UVC lamps off immediately when the lid is opened and switches them on again after the lid is closed.
An overdosage is not possible and no waste or other by-products are produced that have to be disposed of.
