Anyone who chooses a Dauphin Shape comfort XT or XT2 is making an excellent decision for their own back health. The swivel chairs are manufactured with a specially shaped backrest which promises extra padding and ideal ergonomics. This ensures more productivity during VDU work and a high level of sitting comfort.
The difference between the two models lies in the locking mechanism of the backrest. For example, the Shape comfort XT model has a backrest that offers 6 cm of leeway from the seat height. This means that the backrest height can be adjusted between 61 and 67 cm. In the Shape comfort XT2 model, on the other hand, there is 10 cm, so that the height is between 61 and 71 cm. This allows taller people in particular to achieve an ergonomic and comfortable sitting posture.
